Even nos all in

Today we saw another household "full of things in lorry" moved in. Thus the even nos are all done now.

After almost 1year

they finally moved in today.

Looking like the place is going to be ready soon. Trees are being planted in the garden since yesterday.

Current status

Some changes in the stats as two others moved in around 30 August 2011

5st:
2 houses (2 and 25) are doing active renovation since end July 2011.
1 house (7) has still not moved in yet despite the house being ready since mid June 2011.
2 houses have moved in since Nov 2010:
- 6 around 30 Aug 2011
- 1 around mid Aug 2011 (1 or 2 cars parked overnight so it is assumed that someone is spending the night in the house although the moving in process is still in progress).

Stats:
4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 (14/15 = 93%)
1, 3, 5, 9, 11, 15, 17, 19, 21 (9/12 = 75%)

23 in out of 27 so 85% in.

26 months since VP and 85% houses occupied on this street.

6 in

Noticed a car parked inside the car porch on the night of 30 Aug 2011 (Tue) so I think they have moved in.

Umbrella tree

The tree outside 7's house was replaced with a small umbrella tree. FOC from over supply from the contractor's other project.

Current Status

Stats remain the same as May 14, 2011.

7 still not in yet although everything is ready.
6 looks to be doing internal works as the exterior looks done.

2 corner houses started renovation in the last week of July 2011 - 2 and 25.

3 reno work

Today I notice 3 other houses have started reno work.

All 3 are corner units. All involved breaking down walls and moving walls and extending the house.

Two of four did many concrete pillars.
Two of five just use wood pillars which means less work I think.
25 of 5 will add another room to the ground floor.

I believe that all 3 of them will only complete the reno and move in before CNY next year.

A few days ago the front porch ground was sprayed with some kind of sealant. Then today, 4 men arrived in a pickup truck and removed the weeds and put soil they brought on the ground.

Heard drilling being carried out. Went out to see that a small awning has been put in place which I assume it will be done but was assured it won't be. So there!

1 house (6) is doing active renovation since it started on 10 Jan 2011.
1 house (7) is doing preparation for moving in since work started 13 Oct 2010.
2 houses have moved in since Nov 2010:
- 4 around 15 March 2011
- 18 around 12 May 2011

18 red cloth

On the evening of May 12, 2011 (Thu) I noticed a piece of red cloth hanging around the main door of 18 so that means they have moved in. I think they have moved in ceremonially only because there do not seem to be any activities in the house and I do not notice any occupants at all.

They have installed glass balustrade for the top balcony and on the top of the concrete car porch.

Additional awning?

A (independent team - not affiliated to any organization I believe) couple (a man and a woman) have been working on putting up these additional metal frame onsite on and off for a few days now. They do everything onsite - cutting the iron rods and painting them. Are those gutters at the end? Where will the downpipe be installed?

Moved in

The occupants moved in despite not having curtains.

Aircon and gatelights

For the past few days, there were some workers working to install aircons and lights. This place is taking its own sweet time to be fully fitted for occupation.

Change gate lights

The round gate lights have been replaced today. The grilles installation have also been completed today with the auto gate system and alarm system.

Putting up grilles

Started putting up grilles and changing the main gate to roller folding gate. Changed the side gate too but did not finish due to heavy rain in the evening.

Removing the skip

Downpipe

A rectangular downpipe was installed for the MBR balcony roof and was painted to be the same light greenish colour as the walls. One end joins the gutter of the roof of the front porch.

It has a few bends on top of the roof of the back extension and then goes on top of the roof and with one open end in the gutter of the roof of the back extension.

The end of the pipe which will channel the water into the open cutter of the roof of the back extension. The whole configuration is not done very aesthetically.
